Adam
Kissiah wins the World Ability Award from the
World Ability Federation for his work on the
implantable hearing
device and the cochlear implant. The award was presented by: Lt
Col. Brian Birdwell, a survivor of the September 11 Terrorist attack on
the Pentagon, and the Deputy Superintendent of the Bureau of Strategy
and Accountability of the Chicago Police Department, Thomas G. Byrne.
